أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي، وَأَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْمُزَكِّي، قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا بَحْرُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ قَالَ: قُرِئَ عَلَى عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَكَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، وَمَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، وَيُونُسُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ: بَلَغَنِي أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ، وَحَفْصَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا أَصْبَحَتَا صَائِمَتَيْنِ مُتَطَوِّعَتَيْنِ فَأُهْدِيَ لَهُمَا طَعَامٌ فَأَفْطَرَتَا عَلَيْهِ فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهِمَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ: فَقَالَتْ حَفْصَةُ، فَبَدَرَتْنِي بِالْكَلَامِ وَكَانَتِ ابْنَةَ أَبِيهَا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي أَصْبَحْتُ أَنَا وَعَائِشَةُ صَائِمَتَيْنِ مُتَطَوِّعَتَيْنِ وَأُهْدِيَ لَنَا طَعَامٌ فَأَفْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " اقْضِيَا مَكَانَهُ يَوْمًا آخَرَ ". هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ رَوَاهُ ثِقَاتُ الْحُفَّاظِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْهُ مُنْقَطِعًا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ وَيُونُسُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ وَمَعْمَرُ بْنُ رَاشِدٍ وَابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ وَيَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ وَعُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ وَسُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الزُّبَيْدِيُّ وَبَكْرُ بْنُ وَائِلٍ وَغَيْرُهُمْ.
Ibn Shihab narrates: It reached me that Sayyidah Aishah and Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with them both) began the day observing a voluntary fast, and food was given to them as a gift, so they broke their fast with it. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came in to them. Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her) got ahead of me in speaking, and she was her father's daughter. She said: "O Messenger of Allah, Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) and I began the day observing voluntary fasts; then we were given food as a gift and we broke our fast." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Make it up on another day in its place."
This hadith was narrated from al-Zuhri munqati' (with a broken chain) by the trustworthy huffaz among his companions: Malik bin Anas, Yunus bin Yazid, Ma'mar bin Rashid, Ibn Jurayj, Yahya bin Sa'id, Ubaydullah bin Umar, Sufyan bin Uyaynah, Muhammad bin al-Walid al-Zubaydi, Bakr bin Wa'il and others.
This hadith was narrated from al-Zuhri munqati' (with a broken chain) by the trustworthy huffaz among his companions: Malik bin Anas, Yunus bin Yazid, Ma'mar bin Rashid, Ibn Jurayj, Yahya bin Sa'id, Ubaydullah bin Umar, Sufyan bin Uyaynah, Muhammad bin al-Walid al-Zubaydi, Bakr bin Wa'il and others.
وَقَدْ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ إِمْلَاءً، أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْقَطَّانُ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْهِلَالِيُّ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، أنبأ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ بُرْقَانَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: كُنْتُ أَنَا وَحَفْصَةُ صَائِمَتَيْنِ فَعَرَضَ لَنَا طَعَامٌ فَاشْتَهَيْنَاهُ فَأَكَلْنَاهُ فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَبَدَرَتْنِي حَفْصَةُ، وَكَانَتِ ابْنَةَ أَبِيهَا، فَقَصَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الْقِصَّةَ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " اقْضِيَا يَوْمًا آخَرَ " هَكَذَا رَوَاهُ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ بُرْقَانَ وَصَالِحُ بْنُ أَبِي الْأَخْضَرِ وَسُفْيَانُ بْنُ حُسَيْنٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، وَقَدْ وَهِمُوا فِيهِ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ.
Urwah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her) and I were fasting when we were given food as a gift, and we felt a desire for it, so we ate it. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came in to us, and Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her) got ahead of me, for she was her father's daughter, and told him the whole matter. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Make it up on another day."
Ja'far bin Burqan, Salih bin Abi al-Akhdar and Sufyan bin Husayn narrated it like this from al-Zuhri, and they erred in it from al-Zuhri.

وَقَدْ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بِشْرَانَ بِبَغْدَادَ، أنبأ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الرَّزَّازُ ثنا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ثنا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ، ثنا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، قُلْتُ لَهُ: أَحَدَّثَكَ عُرْوَةُ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ: أَصْبَحْتُ أَنَا وَحَفْصَةُ صَائِمَتَيْنِ، فَقَالَ: لَمْ أَسْمَعْ مِنْ عُرْوَةَ فِي هَذَا شَيْئًا وَلَكِنِّي حَدَّثَنِي نَاسٌ فِي خِلَافَةِ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ عَنْ بَعْضِ مَنْ كَانَ يَدْخُلُ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ: أَصْبَحْتُ أَنَا وَحَفْصَةُ صَائِمَتَيْنِ فَأُهْدِيَ لَنَا هَدِيَّةٌ فَأَكَلْنَاهَا فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَبَدَرَتْنِي حَفْصَةُ وَكَانَتِ ابْنَةَ أَبِيهَا، فَذَكَرَتْ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَقَالَ: " اقْضِيَا يَوْمًا مَكَانَهُ " وَكَذَلِكَ رَوَاهُ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ بْنُ هَمَّامٍ وَمُسْلِمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ.
Ibn Jurayj narrates: I said to Ibn Shihab: Did Urwah narrate to you from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: "Hafsah and I began the day fasting"? He said: I did not hear anything about this from Urwah, but some people narrated to me during the caliphate of Sulayman bin Abd al-Malik from some of those who used to visit Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her) and I began the day fasting, and a gift was given to us, and we ate it. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came in to us, and Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her) got ahead of me, for she was her father's daughter, and she told him about it, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Make up a day in its place."
وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْمُزَكِّي، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلْمَانَ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الْفَقِيهُ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْأَبَّارُ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ الْجَوَّازُ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ: سَمِعْنَاهُ مِنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ أَبِي الْأَخْضَرِ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: أَصْبَحْتُ أَنَا وَحَفْصَةُ صَائِمَتَيْنِ فَأُهْدِيَ لَنَا طَعَامٌ وَالطَّعَامُ مَحْرُوصٌ عَلَيْهِ فَأَكَلْنَا مِنْهُ وَدَخَلَ عَلَيْنَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَابْتَدَرَتْنِي حَفْصَةُ، وَكَانَتْ بِنْتَ أَبِيهَا، فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ: أَصْبَحْنَا صَائِمَتَيْنِ فَأُهْدِيَ لَنَا طَعَامٌ فَأَكَلْنَا مِنْهُ فَتَبَسَّمَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَالَ: " صُومَا يَوْمًا مَكَانَهُ ". قَالَ سُفْيَانُ: فَسَأَلُوا الزُّهْرِيَّ وَأَنَا شَاهِدٌ، فَقَالُوا: هُوَ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ؟ قَالَ: لَا..
Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her) and I began the day fasting, and food was given to us as a gift, and the food was tempting, so we ate some of it. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came in to us, and Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her) got ahead of me in asking, for she was her father's daughter, and said: "O Messenger of Allah, we began the day fasting, then food was given to us and we ate some of it." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) smiled and said: "Fast a day in its place."
Sufyan said: They asked al-Zuhri while I was present: "Is it from Urwah?" He said: "No."

وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ، أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ثنا ⦗٤٦٥⦘ يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الزُّهْرِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ الْحَدِيثَ مُرْسَلًا، فَقَالَ سُفْيَانُ: فَقِيلَ لِلزُّهْرِيِّ هُوَ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، فَقَالَ: لَا، وَكَانَ ذَلِكَ عِنْدَ قِيَامِهِ مِنَ الْمَجْلِسِ وَأُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ، قَالَ سُفْيَانُ: وَقَدْ كُنْتُ سَمِعْتُ صَالِحَ بْنَ أَبِي الْأَخْضَرِ حَدَّثَنَاهُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ: لَيْسَ هُوَ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ فَظَنَنْتُ أَنَّ صَالِحًا أَتَى مِنْ قَبْلِ الْعَرْضِ، قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْحُمَيْدِيُّ: أَخْبَرَنِي غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ: لَوْ كَانَ مِنْ حَدِيثِ عُرْوَةَ مَا نَسِيتُهُ فَهَذَانِ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ وَسُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ شَهِدَا عَلَى الزُّهْرِيِّ وَهُمَا شَاهِدَا عَدْلٍ بِأَنَّهُ لَمْ يَسْمَعْهُ مِنْ عُرْوَةَ فَكَيْفَ يَصِحُّ وَصْلُ مَنْ وَصَلَهُ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى التِّرْمِذِيُّ: سَأَلْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْبُخَارِيَّ عَنْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ، فَقَالَ: لَا يَصِحُّ حَدِيثُ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، وَكَذَلِكَ قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الذُّهْلِيُّ وَاحْتَجَّ بِحِكَايَةِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ وَسُفْيَانَ بْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ وَبِإِرْسَالِ الْحَدِيثِ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ مِنَ الْأَئِمَّةِ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ عَنْ جُرَيْجِ بْنِ حَازِمٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عَمْرَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، وَجَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ وَإِنْ كَانَ مِنَ الثِّقَاتِ فَهُوَ وَاهِمٌ فِيهِ وَقَدْ خَطَّأَهُ فِي ذَلِكَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمَدِينِيِّ، وَالْمَحْفُوظُ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ مُرْسَلًا..
Sufyan said: I heard al-Zuhri narrating from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her), and he mentioned that hadith as mursal.
Sufyan said: It was said to al-Zuhri: Is it from Urwah? He said: No. That was as he was rising from the gathering and the iqamah for the prayer had been called. Sufyan said: I had heard Salih bin Abi al-Akhdar narrate it to us from al-Zuhri from Urwah, but al-Zuhri said: It is not from Urwah; so I thought that Salih's error came from the method of presentation ('ard). Abu Bakr al-Humaydi said: More than one person informed me from Ma'mar that he said about this hadith: If it were from the hadith of Urwah, I would not have forgotten it.
So these two, Ibn Jurayj and Sufyan bin Uyaynah, bear witness concerning al-Zuhri, and they are two upright witnesses, that he did not hear it from Urwah; so how can the connected version of whoever connected it be sound? Abu Isa al-Tirmidhi said: I asked Muhammad bin Isma'il al-Bukhari about this hadith, and he said: The hadith of al-Zuhri from Urwah from Aishah is not sound. Muhammad bin Yahya al-Dhuhli said the same, citing the account of Ibn Jurayj and Sufyan bin Uyaynah and the imams' narrating the hadith from al-Zuhri as mursal. It has also been narrated from Jarir bin Hazim from Yahya bin Sa'id from Amrah from Aishah; Jarir bin Hazim, though among the trustworthy, erred in it, and Ahmad bin Hanbal and Ali bin al-Madini judged him mistaken in that. The preserved version is from Yahya bin Sa'id from al-Zuhri from Aishah as mursal.

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أَنْبَأَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ بُنْدَارٍ الصَّيْرَفِيُّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عُمَرَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بُجَيْرٍ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا بَكْرٍ الْأَثْرَمَ يَقُولُ: قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ يَعْنِي أَحْمَدَ بْنَ حَنْبَلِ تَحْفَظُهُ عَنْ يَحْيَى، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَصْبَحْتُ أَنَا وَحَفْصَةُ صَائِمَتَيْنِ فَأَنْكَرَهُ، وَقَالَ مَنْ رَوَاهُ؟ قُلْتُ: جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ فَقَالَ: جَرِيرٌ كَانَ يُحَدِّثُ بِالتَّوَهُّمِ.
Abu Bakr al-Athram narrates: I said to Abu Abdullah Ahmad bin Hanbal (may Allah have mercy on him): Do you know from Yahya the hadith he narrated from Amrah from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: "Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her) and I began the day fasting"? He rejected it and said: Who narrated it? I said: Jarir bin Hazim. He said: Jarir's hadiths are (based on) mistaken impressions (wahm).
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُظَفَّرٍ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْخَلَّالُ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ الرَّمَادِيُّ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: لِعَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمَدِينِيِّ: يَا أَبَا الْحَسَنِ تَحْفَظُ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: أَصْبَحْتُ أَنَا وَحَفْصَةُ، صَائِمَتَيْنِ فَقَالَ لِي مَنْ رَوَى هَذَا؟ قُلْتُ: ابْنُ وَهْبٍ عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ حَازِمٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ: فَضَحِكَ فَقَالَ: مِثْلُكَ يَقُولُ مِثْلَ هَذَا، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ وَحَفْصَةَ أَصْبَحَتَا صَائِمَتَيْنِ وَرُوِيَ مِنْ وَجْهٍ آخَرَ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ.
Ahmad bin Mansur al-Ramadi said: I said to Ali bin al-Madini: O Abu al-Hasan, do you know (the hadith) from Yahya bin Sa'id from Amrah from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: "Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her) and I began the day fasting"? He said to me: Who narrated this? I said: Ibn Wahb from Jarir bin Hazim from Yahya bin Sa'id. He laughed and said: Someone like you says something like this? Hammad bin Zayd narrated to us from Yahya bin Sa'id from al-Zuhri that Aishah and Hafsah began the day fasting.
أَخْبَرَنَاهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ الْفَضْلِ، قَالَا: ثنا ⦗٤٦٦⦘ أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي حَيْوَةُ، وَعُمَرُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْهَادِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي زُمَيْلٌ مَوْلَى عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ: أُهْدِيَ لِي وَلِحَفْصَةَ طَعَامٌ وَكُنَّا صَائِمَتَيْنِ فَقَالَتْ إِحْدَاهُمَا لِصَاحِبَتِهَا: هَلْ لَكِ أَنْ تُفْطِرِي؟ قَالَتْ: نَعَمْ، فَأَفْطَرَتَا ثُمَّ دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَتْ لَهُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّا أُهْدِيَ لَنَا هَدِيَّةٌ فَاشْتَهَيْنَاهُ فَأَفْطَرْنَا فَقَالَ: " لَا عَلَيْكُمَا صُومَا يَوْمًا آخَرَ مَكَانَهُ " أَقَامَ إِسْنَادَهُ جَمَاعَةٌ عَنِ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ وَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَنْ أَبِي زُمَيْلٍ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ بَعْضُهُمْ عُرْوَةَ فِي إِسْنَادِهِ.
Urwah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: Food was given as a gift to me and Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her) while we were fasting. One of them said to her companion: "Will you break your fast?" She said: Yes. So they both broke their fast. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came in to them, and she said: "O Messenger of Allah, we were given a gift; we liked it very much and broke our fast." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no blame on you both; fast another day in its place."
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعْدٍ الْمَالِينِيُّ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو أَحْمَدَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ الْحَافِظُ قَالَ زُمَيْلُ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ: رَوَى عَنْهُ ابْنُ الْهَادِ لَا يُعْرَفُ لِزُمَيْلٍ سَمَاعٌ مِنْ عُرْوَةَ وَلَا لِابْنِ الْهَادِ مِنْ زُمَيْلٍ وَلَا تَقُومُ بِهِ الْحُجَّةُ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ حَمَّادٍ يَذْكُرُهُ عَنِ الْبُخَارِيِّ، قَالَ الشَّيْخُ: وَرُوِيَ مِنْ أَوْجُهٍ أُخَرَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ لَا يَصِحُّ شَيْءٌ مِنْ ذَلِكَ قَدْ بَيَّنْتُ ضَعْفَهَا فِي الْخِلَافِيَّاتِ.
Abu Ahmad Abdullah bin Adi al-Hafiz said: Zumayl bin Abbas narrates from Urwah, and Ibn al-Had narrated from him. Zumayl is not known to have heard from Urwah, nor Ibn al-Had from Zumayl, and no proof is established by it. I heard Ibn Hammad mention this from al-Bukhari.
The Shaykh said: It has been narrated through other routes from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her), and none of them is sound; I have explained their weakness in al-Khilafiyyat.

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، أنبأ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ، أنبأ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ، أنبأ مِسْعَرٌ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: " إِذَا أَصْبَحَ أَحَدُكُمْ صَائِمًا فَبَدَا لَهُ أَنْ يُفْطِرَ فَلْيَصُمْ يَوْمًا مَكَانَهُ أَوْ قَالَ مَكَانَهُ يَوْمًا " شَكَّ مِسْعَرٌ.
Ata' narrates from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he said: When one of you begins the day fasting and then needs to break the fast, he should fast a day in its place.
