Amr bin Shu'ayb narrates from his father, who narrates from his grandfather (Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr, may Allah be pleased with him), that: We descended with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) from a mountain pass (thaniyyah). Then he mentioned the hadith about his prayer, (and said) that he looked towards me while I was wearing a yellow-dyed sheet. He (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "What is this sheet you are wearing?" I understood his (peace and blessings be upon him) displeasure. I came to my family while they were lighting their oven, and I threw the sheet into the oven. Then the next morning I came to him (peace and blessings be upon him). He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Abdullah! What did you do with the sheet?" I informed him (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Why did you not give it to someone of your family to wear? There is no harm in it for women."
