أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نَصْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ بِهَا، أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مَنْصُورٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الصَّائِغُ، ثنا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ، ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ الْقُرِّيِّ، قَالَ: " سَأَلْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ مُتْعَةِ الْحَجِّ، فَرَخَّصَ فِيهَا، وَكَانَ ابْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ يَنْهَى عَنْهَا، فَقَالَ: هَذِهِ أُمُّ ابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ تُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَخَّصَ فِيهَا، فَادْخُلُوا عَلَيْهَا فَاسْأَلُوهَا، قَالَ: فَدَخَلْنَا عَلَيْهَا فَإِذَا امْرَأَةٌ ضَخْمَةٌ عَمْيَاءُ، فَقَالَتْ: قَدْ رَخَّصَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِيهَا " رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ، عَنْ رَوْحِ بْنِ عُبَادَةَ.
Muslim al-Qurri says: I asked Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) about tamattu' Hajj, and he gave a concession for it, while Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to forbid it. He said: "This is the mother of Ibn al-Zubayr; she relates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) gave a concession for it. Go to her and ask her." He said: So we went to her, and she was a heavily built, blind woman. She said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) gave a concession for it."
