باب: المعتكف يخرج من المسجد لبول أو غائط ثم لا يسأل عن المريض إلا مارا ولا يخرج لعيادة مريض ولا شهادة جنازة ولا يباشر امرأة ولا يمسها.
Chapter: One in i'tikaf leaves the mosque to urinate or defecate, asks about the sick only in passing, does not go out to visit the sick or attend a funeral, and does not have relations with or touch a woman

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ، أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ دَاسَةَ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ النُّفَيْلِيُّ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى، قَالَا: ثنا عَبْدُ السَّلَامِ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، أنبأ اللَّيْثُ بْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا، قَالَ النُّفَيْلِيُّ، قَالَتْ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَمُرُّ بِالْمَرِيضِ وَهُوَ مُعْتَكِفٌ فَيَمُرُّ كَمَا هُوَ وَلَا يَعْرُجُ يَسْأَلُ عَنْهُ، ⦗٥٢٧⦘ وَقَالَ ابْنُ عِيسَى قَالَتْ: إِنْ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَعُودُ الْمَرِيضَ وَهُوَ مُعْتَكِفٌ..
Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would pass by a sick person while he (peace and blessings be upon him) was in i'tikaf, and he would pass on as he was, without turning aside to him to ask after him.
Ibn Isa narrates that Sayyidah (Aishah) (may Allah be pleased with her) said that he (peace and blessings be upon him) would visit the sick while he (peace and blessings be upon him) was in i'tikaf.
