أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بِشْرَانَ بِبَغْدَادَ، أنبأ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي مَعْشَرٍ، ثنا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ الدَّسْتُوَائِيِّ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ عَبَّادٍ، قَالَ " كَانَ أَصْحَابُ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَكْرَهُونَ رَفْعَ الصَّوْتِ عِنْدَ الْجَنَائِزِ وَعِنْدَ الْقِتَالِ وَعِنْدَ الذِّكْرِ ".
Qays bin Abbad (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The Companions of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) (may Allah be pleased with them) disliked raising the voice at funerals, at the time of fighting and at the time of dhikr (remembrance).
