أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنِ فُورَكٍ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ، أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ، رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِنَّ الْمَيِّتَ يُعَذَّبُ بِالنِّيَاحَةِ عَلَيْهِ فِي قَبْرِهِ ". أَخْرَجَاهُ فِي الصَّحِيحِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ شُعْبَةَ هَكَذَا.
Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The deceased is punished in the grave because of wailing over him."
