أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بِشْرَانَ بِبَغْدَادَ، أنبأ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الرَّزَّازُ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الْفَحَّامُ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبَانَ الْغَنَوِيُّ، ثنا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا، قَالَتْ: " مَا تَرَكَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ دِينَارًا وَلَا دِرْهَمًا، وَدُفِنَ لَيْلَةَ الثُّلَاثَاءِ وَصُلِّيَ عَلَيْهِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ " إِسْمَاعِيلُ الْغَنَوِيُّ مَتْرُوكٌ.
Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) says that Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) left behind neither a dirham nor a dinar. He was buried on the night of Tuesday, and his funeral prayer was offered in the mosque.
