أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ، بِبَغْدَادَ، أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ دَرَسْتَوَيْهِ، ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، ثنا نُوحُ بْنُ الْهَيْثَمِ الْعَسْقَلَانِيُّ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، أنبأ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، أنبأ الشَّافِعِيُّ، أنبأ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ سَعْدَ بْنَ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ فِي جِنَازَةِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ قَائِمًا بَيْنَ الْعَمُودَيْنِ الْمُقَدَّمَيْنِ وَاضِعًا السَّرِيرَ عَلَى كَاهِلِهِ " لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ الشَّافِعِيِّ وَحَدِيثُ الْعَسْقَلَانِيِّ بِمَعْنَاهُ.
Ibrahim bin Sa'd narrates from his father, and he from his grandfather: I saw Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) at the funeral of Abd al-Rahman bin Awf (may Allah be pleased with him) standing between the two front poles, with the bier resting on his shoulders.
