Bayhaqi 6836 — One who carried the bier and placed it on his shoulders
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْمُزَكِّي، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، ثنا الشَّافِعِيُّ، أنبأ الثِّقَةُ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ عِيسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ، قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، يَحْمِلُ بَيْنَ عَمُودَيْ سَرِيرِ أُمِّهِ فَلَمْ يُفَارِقْهُ حَتَّى وَضَعَهُ.
Isa bin Talhah said: I saw Sayyiduna Uthman bin Affan (may Allah be pleased with him); he was carrying (his mother's bier) between the two poles of her bier, and he did not leave it until he had set it down.
