جماع أبواب الشهيد ومن يصلي عليه ويغسل -- باب: المسلمين يقتلهم المشركون في المعترك فلا يغسل القتلى ولا يصلى عليهم ويدفنون بكلومهم ودمائهم

أَخْبَرَنَاهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنبأ أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ، ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ اللَّيْثِيُّ، أَنَّ ابْنَ شِهَابٍ الزُّهْرِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ، أَنَّ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ حَدَّثَهُ: " أَنَّ شُهَدَاءَ أُحُدٍ لَمْ يُغَسَّلُوا وَلَمْ يُصَلَّ عَلَيْهِمْ وَدُفِنُوا بِدِمَائِهِمْ ".
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the martyrs of Uhud were not washed; they were buried in their blood, and the funeral prayer was not offered over them either.
