Bayhaqi 5644 — Not attending Friday prayer because of fear, illness

Nafi' (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that it was mentioned to him that Sayyiduna Sa'id bin Zayd bin Amr bin Nufayl (may Allah be pleased with him) was ill, and he was a Companion who had fought at Badr. So Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) went to him after the day had advanced; the time of the Friday prayer was near, but he left the Friday prayer.
