Bayhaqi 18208 — Stealing from the war booty, little or much

Sayyiduna Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever dies while he is free of three things, arrogance, breach of trust in the spoils of war, and debt, will enter Paradise." Abu Isa said: Sa'id narrates it from Qatadah, and he used the word 'al-kanz' (hoarded treasure) in place of 'al-kibr' (arrogance).
