It is narrated from Ka'b bin Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he was with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in the state of ihram, and lice troubled him. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered him to shave his head and said: "Fast three days, or feed six poor people two mudds each, or sacrifice a goat; whichever of these you do will suffice for you." Al-Husayn bin al-Walid narrated it from Malik with a good chain, and the two Shaykhs (may Allah have mercy on them) recorded it in their Sahih through other chains from Abd al-Karim.
