Bayhaqi 10776 — Reports on the slave's property
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْفَقِيهُ، أنا أَبُو الشَّيْخِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيِّ، أنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ، ثنا أَبُو عَامِرٍ، ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، ثنا حَنْظَلَةُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ طَاوُسًا، يُخْبِرُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، " أَنَّ الْمَمْلُوكَ لَا يَمْلِكُ مِنْ دَمِهِ وَلَا مَالِهِ شَيْئًا ".
Tawus narrates from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both): "A slave does not own his own blood or property."
