Bayhaqi 10252 — A voluntary sacrificial animal that is driven

The father of Hisham bin Urwah (may Allah have mercy on them both) narrates from a man of the Aslam tribe (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! If a sacrificial animal becomes exhausted, what should I do? He (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered him: "To slaughter it and throw its sandals into its blood, then leave the space between the sacrificial animal and the people, and let them eat its meat."
