Bayhaqi 10110 — Making an exception (stipulation) in Hajj

Ikrimah narrates from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) went to Sayyidah Duba'ah bint al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with her) while she intended to perform Hajj, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "At the time of your ihram, make the stipulation: My place of leaving ihram will be wherever You hold me back; for that is (granted) to you."
