أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ الْفَضْلِ الصَّيْرَفِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الْأَصَمُّ، ثنا ⦗٣٤٠⦘ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَفَّانَ، ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، ثنا مَطَرٌ الْوَرَّاقُ أَنَّ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنَ قُرَّةَ، حَدَّثَهُمْ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ أَنَّ رَجُلًا، مُحْرِمًا أَوْطَأَ رَاحِلَتَهُ أُدْحِيَّ نَعَامٍ فَانْطَلَقَ الرَّجُلُ إِلَى عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ فَسَأَلَهُ عَنْ ذَلِكَ، فَقَالَ عَلِيٌّ: عَلَيْكَ فِي كُلِّ بَيْضَةٍ ضِرَابُ نَاقَةٍ أَوْ جَنِينُ نَاقَةٍ، فَانْطَلَقَ الرَّجُلُ إِلَى نَبِيِّ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَخْبَرَهُ مَا قَالَ عَلِيٌ، فَقَالَ نَبِيُّ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " قَدْ قَالَ عَلِيٌّ مَا تَسْمَعُ، وَلَكِنْ هَلُمَّ إِلَى الرُّخْصَةِ عَلَيْكَ فِي كُلِّ بَيْضَةٍ صِيَامُ يَوْمٍ، أَوْ إِطْعَامُ مِسْكِينٍ ".
Mu'awiyah bin Qurrah narrates from a man of the Ansar that the mount of a man in ihram trampled a nest of ostrich eggs. The man went to Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and asked him about it. Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: For every egg you owe the mating of a she-camel, or the foetus of a she-camel. The man went to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and told him what Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) had said. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You have heard what Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said; but come to the concession: for every egg you owe a day's fast or feeding one poor person."
