«الصلاة في جماعة تعدل خمسا وعشرين صلاة فإذا صلاها في فلاة فأتم ركوعها وسجودها بلغت خمسين صلاة»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Prayer in congregation is equal to twenty-five prayers, and if he offers it in an open wilderness and completes its bowing and prostration, it reaches the equal of fifty prayers."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Praying in the Masjid of Quba is equal to an Umrah."

«الصلوات الخمس كفارة لما بينهن ما اجتنبت الكبائر والجمعة إلى الجمعة وزيادة ثلاثة أيام»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The five prayers are an expiation for (the sins committed) between them, provided that major sins are avoided, and from one Friday to the next Friday and three additional days (are also an expiation)."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

«الصيام جنة وإذا كان أحدكم صائما فلا يرفث ولا يجهل وإن امرؤ قاتله أو شاتمه فليقل: إني صائم مرتين والذي نفسي بيده لخلوف فم الصائم أطيب عند الله من ريح المسك يترك طعامه وشرابه وشهوته من أجلي الصيام لي وأنا أجزي به والحسنة بعشر أمثالها»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Fasting is a shield. When one of you is fasting, he should neither speak obscenely nor act ignorantly, and if a man fights him or abuses him, he should say twice: 'I am fasting.' By the One in whose Hand is my soul! The smell of the fasting person's mouth is better with Allah than the fragrance of musk. He gives up his food, his drink and his desire for My sake; fasting is for Me and I Myself will reward it, and a good deed is recorded as ten times its like."

"Fasting is a shield from the Fire (for protection), so whoever begins the morning fasting should not act ignorantly that day, and if a man acts ignorantly towards him, he should neither abuse him nor revile him, but should say: 'I am fasting.' By the One in whose Hand is the soul of Muhammad! The smell of the fasting person's mouth is better with Allah than the fragrance of musk."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Fasting is a shield from the Fire (for protection), just like the shield one of you has for protection in battle."

«الصيام جنة وحصن حصين من النار»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Fasting is a shield and a strong fortress for protection from the Fire."

«الصيام جنة وهو حصن من حصون المؤمن وكل عمل لصاحبه إلا الصيام يقول الله: الصيام لي وأنا أجزي به»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Fasting is a shield and it is one of the fortresses of the believer. The reward of every deed is for the one who does it, except fasting. Allah says: 'Fasting is for Me and I Myself will reward it.'"

«الصيام والقرآن يشفعان للعبد يوم القيامة يقول الصيام: أي رب إني منعته الطعام والشهوات بالنهار فشفعني فيه يقول القرآن: رب منعته النوم بالليل فشفعني فيه فيشفعان»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Fasting and the Qur'an will intercede for the servant on the Day of Resurrection. Fasting will say: 'O Lord! I kept him from food, drink and desires during the day, so accept my intercession for him.' And the Qur'an will say: 'O Lord! I kept him from sleep at night, so accept my intercession for him.' So the intercession of both will be accepted."
