Hadith Beginning with the Letter Ha (ح)

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"My Pool stretches from Aden to Amman of al-Balqa. Its water is whiter than milk and sweeter than honey, and its cups are as numerous as the stars of the sky. Whoever drinks a single draught from it will never be thirsty after it. The first people to arrive at it will be the poor among the Muhajirun, with dishevelled hair and soiled clothes, who cannot marry women accustomed to luxury, and for whom the doors of the wealthy are not opened."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"We too hum around that."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Wherever you may be, send blessings upon me, for your blessings reach me."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Wherever you pass by the grave of a disbeliever, give him the tidings of the Fire."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"When a menstruating woman and a woman in postnatal bleeding reach the miqat, they should take a ritual bath (ghusl), enter the state of ihram, and perform all the rites of Hajj except the circumambulation (tawaf) of the Ka'bah."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The pilgrim is the one with dishevelled hair who is without perfume."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"In black seed there is healing for every disease except death."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Cupping on an empty stomach is best; in it there is healing and blessing, and it increases memory and intellect. So have cupping done, with the blessing of Allah, on Thursday, and avoid cupping on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Have cupping done on Monday and Tuesday, for that is the day on which Allah healed Ayyub (peace be upon him) from his affliction. And avoid cupping on Wednesday, for that is the day on which Ayyub (peace be upon him) was afflicted, and leprosy and leucoderma appear only on Wednesday or on the night of Wednesday."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"There is no reward for an accepted Hajj (Hajj Mabrur) except Paradise."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Hajj is the jihad of every weak person."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Hajj is standing at Arafah. Whoever arrives before the break of dawn on the night of Muzdalifah has attained the Hajj. The days of Mina are three; so whoever hastens in two days, there is no sin upon him, and whoever delays, there is no sin upon him either."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Those performing Hajj and those performing Umrah are the guests of Allah. He called them and they answered Him, and they asked of Him and He gave them."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The Black Stone is from Paradise."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The Black Stone is one of the stones of Paradise."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"War is deception."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Silk is the clothing of the one who has no share in the Hereafter."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Noble standing (hasab) is in reality wealth, and honour (karam) is in reality piety (taqwa)."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Hasan is from me and Husayn is from Ali."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Hasan and Husayn are the leaders of the youth of the people of Paradise."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Hasan and Husayn are the leaders of the youth of the people of Paradise, except for the two maternal cousins, Isa bin Maryam and Yahya bin Zakariyya; and Fatimah is the leader of the women of the people of Paradise, except for Maryam bint Imran."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Hasan and Husayn are the leaders of the youth of the people of Paradise, and their father is better than them both."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Swearing oaths makes merchandise sell, but it wipes out the blessing."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"'All praise is for Allah, the Lord of all the worlds' is the Mother of the Qur'an, the Mother of the Book, and the Seven Oft-Repeated Verses."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"'All praise is for Allah, the Lord of all the worlds' is the Seven Oft-Repeated Verses that I have been given, and it is the Magnificent Qur'an."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Fever is the believer's share of Hell on the Day of Resurrection."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Fever is every believer's share of Hell."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Fever is from the furnace of Hell; so whatever fever afflicts the believer is his share of Hell."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Fever is from the furnace of Hell; so drive it away from yourselves with cold water."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Fever is from the furnace of Hell, and it is the believer's share of Hell."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Fever is from the heat of Hell; so cool it with water."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The bathhouse is forbidden for the women of my Ummah."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The lawful is clear and the unlawful is clear, and between them are doubtful matters which many people do not know. So whoever guards himself against the doubtful matters has safeguarded his religion and his honour, and whoever falls into the doubtful matters falls into the unlawful, like a shepherd who grazes his animals around a protected pasture, about to stray into it. Beware! Every king has a protected pasture. Beware! The protected pasture of Allah Almighty on His earth is the things He has forbidden. Beware! In the body there is a piece of flesh; if it is sound, the whole body is sound, and if it is corrupt, the whole body is corrupt. Beware! It is the heart."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The lawful is clear and the unlawful is clear; so leave what makes you doubt for what does not make you doubt."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The lawful is what Allah has made lawful in His Book, and the unlawful is what Allah has made unlawful in His Book, and whatever He remained silent about is among the things He has pardoned."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Modesty is entirely good."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Modesty is part of faith."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Modesty is part of faith, and the most modest of my Ummah is Uthman."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Modesty is part of faith, and faith leads to Paradise; and obscene speech is part of harshness, and harshness leads to Hell."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Modesty and faith are joined together; so when one of them is taken away, the other is taken away as well."

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Modesty and reticence in speech are two branches of faith, and obscene speech and boastful eloquence are two branches of hypocrisy."
