"لا تصوموا حتى تروا الهلال ولا تفطروا حتى تروه فإن غم عليكم فاقدروا له"
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Do not fast until you see the new moon, and do not stop fasting until you see it; and if it is clouded over for you, then estimate for it."
