«لا تصم المرأة وبعلها شاهد إلا بإذنه غير رمضان ولا تأذن في بيته وهو شاهد إلا بإذنه وما أنفقت من كسبه من غير أمره فإن نصف أجره له»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"A woman should not fast (a voluntary fast) while her husband is present without his permission, other than in Ramadan; and she should not permit anyone to enter his house while he is present without his permission; and whatever she spends from his earnings without his instruction, half of its reward is for him (the husband)."
