«لا تصوموا قبل رمضان وصوموا لرؤيته وأفطروا لرؤيته فإن حالت دونه غيامة فأكملوا ثلاثين يوما»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Do not fast before Ramadan. Fast upon sighting the moon and stop fasting upon sighting it; and if clouds come between you and it, then complete thirty days."
