«صوموا لرؤيته وأفطروا لرؤيته فإن غم عليكم فأكملوا شعبان ثلاثين»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Fast upon sighting the moon and stop fasting upon sighting the moon, and if (the moon) is hidden from you, then complete thirty days of Sha'ban."
