«إن جبريل كان يعارضني القرآن كل سنة مرة وإنه عارضني العام مرتين ولا أراه إلا حضر أجلي وإنك أول أهل بيتي لحاقا بي فاتقي الله واصبري فإنه نعم السلف أنا لك»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, Jibril used to review the Qur'an with me once every year, but this year he has reviewed it with me twice, and I can only think that my appointed time (of passing) has come near. And indeed, you will be the first of my household to join me, so fear Allah and be patient, for what an excellent forerunner I am for you."
