«إن جبريل لما ركض زمزم بعقبه جعلت أم إسماعيل تجمع البطحاء رحم الله هاجر لو تركتها كانت عينا معينا»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Indeed, when Jibril dug Zamzam with his heel, the mother of Isma'il (Hajar) began gathering the earth and sand to contain it. May Allah have mercy on Hajar! Had she left it as it was (without containing it), the spring of Zamzam would have become a flowing spring."
