«اللهم إن إبراهيم كان عبدك وخليلك دعاك لأهل مكة بالبركة وأنا محمد عبدك ورسولك أدعوك لأهل المدينة أن تبارك لهم في مدهم وصاعهم مثلي ما باركت لأهل مكة مع البركة بركتين»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"O Allah, Ibrahim (peace be upon him) was Your servant and Your intimate friend; he supplicated to You for blessing for the people of Makkah. And I am Muhammad, Your servant and Your Messenger; I supplicate to You for the people of Madinah, that You bless them in their mudd and their sa' as much as You blessed the people of Makkah, indeed, two blessings along with the blessing."
