لَا يَرِثُ الْمُسْلِمُ الْكَافِرَ وَلَا الْكَافِرُ الْمُسْلِمَ

حدثنا أبو العباس محمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا بحر بن نصر، حدثنا عبد الله بن وهب، أخبرني محمد بن عمرو، عن ابن جُرَيج، عن أبي الزُّبير، عن جابر بن عبد الله، أنَّ رسول الله ﷺ: قال: "لا يَرِثُ المسلم النصرانيَّ إلَّا أن يكون عبدَه أو أَمَتَه" (3) محمد بن عمرو هذا: هو اليافِعيُّ من أهل مصر، صدوقُ الحديث صحيح، فإنَّ الأصل فيه حديث عمرو بن شعيب الذي:

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A Muslim does not inherit from a Christian, unless he is his slave or slave woman." This narrator, Muhammad bin Amr, is al-Yafi'i of Egypt, who is saduq (truthful) and sahih in hadith, and the basis of this hadith is the narration of Amr bin Shu'ayb (which follows).
حدَّثَناه أبو العباس، أخبرنا محمد بن عبد الله بن عبد الحَكَم، أخبرني ابن وهب، أخبرني الخليل بن مُرَّة، عن قَتَادة عن عمرو بن شعيب، عن أبيه، عن عبد الله بن عمرو، عن رسول الله ﷺ، قال: "لا يَرِثُ المسلمُ الكافرَ، ولا الكافرُ المسلمَ" (1).
