It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent him on the day of the Greater Hajj with four (announcements): that no one should circumambulate the House (of Allah) naked; that none will enter Paradise except a soul that is Muslim; that no idolater should perform Hajj after this year; and that whoever has a covenant (treaty) with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), it will be honored until its appointed term.
This hadith is sahih al-isnad (its chain is authentic), but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it. Its supporting witness is the narration of Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him).

Muharrar bin Abi Hurayrah narrates from his father (Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him)); he said: I was with Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sent him to the people of Makkah with (the message of) Surah Bara'ah. He was asked: "What were you all proclaiming?" He said: "We were proclaiming that none will enter Paradise except a believing soul; that no one naked should circumambulate the House (of Allah); that whoever has a treaty with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), its term is four months, and when the four months have passed, then Allah and His Messenger are free of (obligation to) the idolaters; and that no idolater should perform Hajj after this year. I kept making this announcement until my voice became hoarse."
This hadith is sahih al-isnad (its chain is authentic), but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.
