أخبرني إسماعيل بن محمد بن الفضل بن محمد الشَّعْراني، حدثنا جدِّي، حدثنا نُعيم بن حمّاد، حدثنا عبد العزيز بن محمد الدَّراوَرْدي، عن عمرو بن أبي عمرو، عن عِكْرمة عن ابن عباس قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: "اجتنِبُوا الخمرَ، فإنَّها مِفتاحُ كلَّ شَرٍّ" (2). صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Avoid wine, for it is the key to every evil."

أخبرنا أبو العباس محمد بن أحمد المحبوبي، حدثنا سعيد بن مسعود، حدثنا يزيد بن هارون أخبرنا حمّاد بن سَلَمة، عن يعلى بن عطاء، عن نافع بن عاصم، عن عبد الله بن عمرو، أنَّ رسول الله ﷺ قال: "من شَرِبَ الخمرَ فسَكِرَ منها، لم تُقبَلْ له صلاةُ أربعين يومًا، ثم إن شَرِبَها حتى يَسكَر، لم تُقبَلْ له صلاةُ أربعينَ يومًا، ثمَّ إن شَرِبَها حتى يَسكَر منها، لم تُقبَلْ له صلاةُ أربعينَ يومًا، ثمَّ إِن شَرِبَها الرابعَة فسَكِرَ منها، كان حقًّا على الله أن يَسقِيَه من عين الخَبَال" قيل: وما الخَبَالُ؟ قال: "صَدِيدُ أهلِ النار" (1).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever drinks wine and becomes intoxicated by it, his prayer will not be accepted for forty days. Then if he drinks it again until he becomes intoxicated, his prayer will not be accepted for forty days. Then if he drinks it a third time and becomes intoxicated, his prayer will not be accepted for forty days. And if he drinks it a fourth time and becomes intoxicated, it is a right upon Allah Almighty that He make him drink from 'Ayn al-Khabal.'" It was asked: "What is 'Khabal'?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The pus of the people of the Fire (the inhabitants of Hell)."
حدثنا أبو العباس محمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا محمد بن عبد الله بن الحَكَم، أخبرنا ابن وهب، أخبرنا عمرو بن الحارث، أنَّ عمرو بن شعيب حدثه عن أبيه، عن عبد الله بن عَمرو بن العاص، عن رسول الله ﷺ أنه قال: "من تركَ الصلاةَ سُكْرًا مرةً واحدةً، فكأنّما كانت له الدنيا وما عليها فسُلِبَها، ومن تركَ الصلاةَ أربعَ مراتٍ سُكْرًا، كان حقًّا على الله تعالى أن يَسقِيَه من طينةِ الخَبَال" قيل: وما طينةُ الخَبَال؟ قال: "عُصَارةُ أهلِ جهنَّم" (2)

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever abandons the prayer once while intoxicated, it is as though he possessed the whole world and everything on it and it was snatched away from him; and whoever abandons the prayer four times while intoxicated, it is a right upon Allah Almighty that He make him drink 'Tinat al-Khabal'." It was asked: What is 'Tinat al-Khabal'? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The drippings of the people of Hell (blood and pus)."
