Musa bin Muhammad bin Ibrahim al-Taymi narrates from his father that he said: Sayyiduna Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) bore the expenses of Sayyidah Mariyah (may Allah be pleased with her) until his death; then Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) continued to bear her expenses until Sayyidah Mariyah (may Allah be pleased with her) passed away during his caliphate.

It is narrated from Muhammad bin Umar (al-Waqidi) that Sayyidah Mariyah (may Allah be pleased with her), the mother of Ibrahim, the son of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), passed away in Muharram of the year 16 AH. Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) was seen gathering the people for her funeral; Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) led her funeral prayer, and she was buried in Jannat al-Baqi'.

Abbas bin Muhammad al-Duri relates that he heard Yahya bin Ma'in mention this hadith of Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him): that an accusation was made against the mother of Ibrahim concerning a certain man, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered that he be killed, but when he was examined, he was found to be devoid of manhood (majbub).

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man was accused concerning the mother of Ibrahim, the son of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), that is, Sayyidah Mariyah (may Allah be pleased with her). The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him): "Go and strike his neck." When Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) reached him, he was in a well, cooling himself. Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said to him: Come out. He gave him his hand, and Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) pulled him out and saw that he was majbub, with no male organ at all. So Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) refrained from killing him, came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! He is majbub; he has no male organ.
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.
