Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 6995

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man was accused concerning the mother of Ibrahim, the son of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), that is, Sayyidah Mariyah (may Allah be pleased with her). The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him): "Go and strike his neck." When Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) reached him, he was in a well, cooling himself. Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said to him: Come out. He gave him his hand, and Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) pulled him out and saw that he was majbub, with no male organ at all. So Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) refrained from killing him, came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! He is majbub; he has no male organ.
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.
