قال ابن عمر: وحدثني أبو بكر بن عبد الله بن أبي سَبْرة، عن حسين بن أبي حسين قال: تزوّج رسولُ الله ﷺ حفصةَ في شعبان على رأس ثلاثين شهرًا قبلَ أُحد (2).
It is narrated from Husayn bin Abi Husayn that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) married Sayyidah Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her) in the month of Sha'ban, and that was thirty months before the battle of Uhud.

قال ابن عمر: حَدَّثَنَا مَعمَر، عن الزُّهْري، عن سالم، عن أبيه، قال: تُوفِّيت حفصةُ في شعبان سنةَ خمسٍ وأربعين، فصلَّى عليها مروانُ بن الحَكَم وهو يومئذٍ عاملُ المدينة (1).
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he said: Sayyidah Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her) passed away in the month of Sha'ban in the year 45 AH, and her funeral prayer was led by Marwan bin al-Hakam, who was the governor of Madinah at that time.

قال ابن عمر: فحدثني علي بن مُسلم [عن] (2) المَقبُري، عن أبيه قال: رأيتُ مروانَ حَمَلَ بين عمودَيْ سريرِ حفصةَ من عند دار آلِ حَزْم إلى دار المغيرة بن شُعبة، وحملَها أبو هريرة من دارِ المغيرة إلى قبرها (3).
It is narrated from al-Maqburi, from his father, that he said: I saw Marwan carrying the bier of Sayyidah Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her) between its two poles from the house of the family of Hazm to the house of al-Mughirah bin Shu'bah (may Allah be pleased with him), and then Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) carried her from the house of al-Mughirah to her grave.

قال ابن عمر: وحدثني عبد الله بن نافع قال: نزَلَ في قبر حفصةَ عبدُ الله وعاصمٌ ابنا عمر، وسالمٌ وعبد الله وحمزة بنو عبد الله بن عمر (4).
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Nafi' that those who descended into the grave of Sayyidah Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her) (for the burial) were Abdullah and Asim, the sons of Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), and Salim, Abdullah and Hamzah, the sons of Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both).
