The pledge that we would not fear the blame of any blamer for the sake of Allah

Abu al-Ash'ath narrates from Sayyiduna Ubadah bin al-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: We pledged allegiance at the hand of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that we would not fear, in the matter of Allah, the blame of any blamer.
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it.

Junadah bin Abi Umayyah narrates from Sayyiduna Ubadah bin al-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was busy (with other affairs) and a man came having accepted Islam, he (peace and blessings be upon him) would hand him over to one of us so that he would teach him the Qur'an. So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) handed over to me a man who lived with me in the house, and I used to teach him to recite the Qur'an. He felt that I had a right (a favour) over him, so he gave me a bow as a gift; I had never seen a finer bow, nor one with a better bend. I came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "O Messenger of Allah! What do you say about it (the bow)?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is an ember (of fire) between your shoulders that you have hung on yourself, or put on around your neck."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.
