حدثنا أبو عبد الله محمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا إبراهيم بن عبد الله السَّعْدي، حدثنا محمد بن خالد بن عَثْمة، حدثنا موسى بن يعقوب الزَّمْعي، حدثني أبو الحُوَيرث، أنَّ محمد بن جُبَير بن مُطعِم أخبره: أنه سمع عليًّا خَطَبَ الناس، فقال: بينما أنا أمتْحُ من قَليبٍ ببدر، إذ جاءت ريحٌ شديدةٌ لم أرَ مثلَها قَطُّ، ثم ذهبتْ، ثم جاءتْ ريحٌ شديدةٌ لم أرَ مثلها قَطّ إلَّا التي كانت قبلَها (2)، فكانت الريحُ الأُولى جبريلَ نَزَلَ في ألفٍ من الملائكة مع رسول الله ﷺ، وكانت الريحُ الثانية ميكائيلَ نَزَلَ في ألفٍ من الملائكة عن يمينِ رسول الله ﷺ، وكان أبو بكر عن يمينه، وكانت الريحُ الثالثةُ إسرافيل نَزَلَ في ألفٍ من الملائكة عن مَيسرةِ رسول الله ﷺ، وأنا في المَيسَرة، فلما هَزَمَ اللهُ تعالى أعداءه حَمَلني رسولُ الله ﷺ على فرسِه فجَرَتْ بي فوقعتُ على عَقِبي، فدعوتُ الله ﷿ فأمسكَني، فلما استويتُ عليها طَعَنْتُ بيدي هذه في القومِ حتى اختَضَبَ هذا مني دمًا؛ وأشارَ إلى إبطِه (1).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Muhammad bin Jubayr bin Mut'im that he heard Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) addressing the people; he said: "While I was drawing water from a well on the day of Badr, suddenly a strong wind came, the like of which I had never seen, then it went away. Then another strong wind came, the like of which I had never seen, except for the one that had come before it. The first wind was Jibril (peace be upon him), who descended with a thousand angels to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him); the second wind was Mika'il (peace be upon him), who descended with a thousand angels on the right side of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and Abu Bakr was on his right; and the third wind was Israfil (peace be upon him), who descended with a thousand angels on the left side of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), while I was on the left side. Then, when Allah defeated His enemies, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) mounted me on his horse. It galloped off with me and I fell back on my heels. Then I supplicated to Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, and He held me firm. When I sat upright on it, I struck at the enemy with spear-thrusts from this hand of mine until this part of me (he pointed to his armpit) was dyed with blood."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) in its chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

Hadith 4481

حدثني أبو جعفر أحمد بن عُبيد الحافظ بَهَمذان، حدثنا إبراهيم بن الحسين، حدثنا آدم بن أبي إياس العَسْقَلاني، حدثني محمد بن إسماعيل بن أبي فُدَيك المدَني، عن الحسن بن عبد الله بن عطية السَّعْدي، عن عبد العزيز بن المطّلب بن عبد الله بن حَنْطَبٍ، عن أبيه، عن جدِّه عبد الله بن حَنْطَب، قال: كنتُ مع رسول الله ﷺ فنَظَرَ إلى أبي بكر وعمر، فقال: "هذانِ السمعُ والبصرُ" (1)
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Hantab (may Allah be pleased with him); he said: I was with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He (peace and blessings be upon him) looked at Sayyiduna Abu Bakr and Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) and said: "These two are (to me just like) the hearing and the sight."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) in its chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

Hadith 4482

أخبرني بكر بن محمد الصَّيرفي بمَرْو، حدثنا أبو قِلابةَ الرَّقاشي، حدثنا أبو عَتّاب سهل بن حماد، حدثنا موسى بن عُمير قال سمعت مكحولًا يقول، وسأله رجلٌ عن قول الله ﷿: ﴿فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ مَوْلَاهُ وَجِبْرِيلُ وَصَالِحُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ﴾ [التحريم: 4] قال: حدَّثني أبو أُمامة أنه كما قال الله مولاه وجبريلُ، وصالحُ المؤمنين أبو بكر وعمرُ (1). صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that when a man asked Makhul about this saying of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic: "Then indeed Allah is his Protector, and Jibril, and the righteous among the believers" [Surah al-Tahrim: 4], he said: Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated to me that, as Allah Almighty said, Allah is his Protector, and Jibril as well; and by "the righteous among the believers" is meant Abu Bakr and Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both).
This hadith is sahih (authentic) in its chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.
