حدثنا أبو العبَّاس محمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا الحسن بن علي بن عفّان، حدثنا يحيى بن آدم، أخبرنا شَريك، عن عمار الدُّهْني، عن أبي الزُّبَير، عن جابر، رفعه إلى النبي ﷺ: أنه كان لواؤُه يوم دخلَ مكةَ أبيضَ (3).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم، ولم يُخرجاه. وشاهدُه حديث ابن عباس:

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him), who narrates it as a statement traced back to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), that on the day of the Conquest of Makkah his banner (liwa') was white.
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

حدثنا أبو بكر محمد بن أحمد بن بالَوَيهِ، حدثنا بشر بن موسى، حدثنا يحيى بن إسحاق السَّيْلَحِيني، حدثنا يزيد بن حيان، أخبرني أبو مِجْلَز لاحِق بن حُميد، عن ابن عباس، قال: كان لواءُ رسولِ الله ﷺ، أبيضَ، ورايتُه سوداءَ (1).

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the large banner (liwa') of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was white and his smaller flag (rayah) was black.
