أخبرنا أبو عمرو بن إسماعيل، حدثنا محمد بن إسحاق، حدثنا محمد ابن أبي صفوان الثقفي، حدثنا عبد السلام بن هاشم، حدثنا عثمان بن سعد الكاتب، عن أنس بن مالك قال: كان النبي ﷺ ينزل منزلًا إلّا وَدَّعَه بركعتين (2).
هذا حديث صحيح، ولم يُخرجاه، وعثمان بن سعد ممّن يُجمع حديثُه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that whenever the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stopped at a place, he would bid it farewell with two rak'ahs when departing from it.
This hadith is sahih (authentic), but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it, and Uthman bin Sa'd is among those whose hadith are collected.

حدثنا الشيخ أبو بكر أحمد بن إسحاق، أخبرنا أبو المثنَّى، حدثنا مُسدَّد، حدثنا بشر بن المفضَّل، حدثنا عاصم بن محمد بن زيد بن عبد الله بن عمر بن الخطاب، قال: سمعت أبي يقول: قال ابن عمر قال نبيُّ الله ﷺ: "لو يَعلمُ الناسُ ما في الوَحْدةِ ما أعلَمُ، إنْ (3) يسيرُ الراكبُ بليلٍ وحدَه أبدًا" (1).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه!

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If people knew what I know about (the harms of) being alone, no rider would ever travel alone by night."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

حدثنا أبو زكريا يحيى بن محمد العنبري وأبو بكر محمد بن جعفر المزكِّي، قالا: حدثنا أبو عبد الله محمد بن إبراهيم العبدي، حدثنا عبد الله بن محمد النُّفَيلي، حدثنا عُبيد الله بن عمرو الرَّقِّي، عن عبد الكريم، عن عِكْرمة، عن ابن عباس، قال: خرج رجلٌ من خيبَرَ فتبعه رجلان ورجلٌ يَتلُوهما، يقول: ارجِعا، حتى أَدْرَكَهُما فرَدَّهما، ثم قال: إنَّ هذّين شيطانان، فاقرأْ على رسولِ الله ﷺ السلامَ، وأعلِمْه أنّا في جَمْع صدقاتنا لو كانت تصلُح له لبَعثْنا بها إليه، قال: فلما قَدِمَ على النبي ﷺ حدَّثه، فنهى عند ذلك عن الخَلْوة (2).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد على شرط البخاري، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that a man set out from Khaybar, and two men followed him, while a third man came behind them saying: "Go back, both of you!" until he caught up with them and sent them back. Then he said (to the first man): "These two were devils. Convey my salam to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and tell him that we are gathering our charities; if they were lawful for him (to use), we would certainly send them to him." The narrator says: When that man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and told him about this incident, he (peace and blessings be upon him) then forbade travelling alone.
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Bukhari, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.
