It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to Makkah for Hajj and Umrah, he walked briskly for three circuits (of tawaf) and walked normally for four. Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performed Umrah two or three times before his Hajj, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) performed only one Hajj (in his life); one of his Umrahs was in Ramadan.
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs did not record it.

It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that we set out with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in three types of ihram: some of us entered ihram for both Hajj and Umrah (qiran), some for Hajj alone (ifrad), and some for Umrah alone. Whoever had entered ihram for both Hajj and Umrah did not come out of any of the prohibitions until he had completed the rites of Hajj; and whoever had entered ihram for Hajj alone also did not come out of it until the rites of Hajj were completed. But whoever had entered ihram for Umrah alone came out of ihram after performing tawaf of the House of Allah and sa'i between Safa and Marwah, and then (later) entered ihram for Hajj.
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs did not record it.
