Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) says that in the two Eids (prayers) the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would say twelve takbirs besides the opening takbir, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) would recite (in the prayer) "Qaf. By the glorious Qur'an" and "The Hour has drawn near".
This hadith was narrated by Abdullah bin Lahi'ah alone, and Imam Muslim cited him as a supporting narrator in two places. On this topic there are also narrations from Sayyidah Aishah, Ibn Umar, Abu Hurayrah and Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them), but their chains are weak. And according to one statement, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated it from Uqayl.

It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that in the two Eids the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would say seven takbirs in the first rak'ah and five takbirs in the second rak'ah before the recitation.

Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), Abu Bakr and Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to pray the two Eid prayers before the sermon.
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it with this wording; they recorded the hadith of Ata from Ibn Abbas in a different wording.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali and Sayyiduna Ammar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that in the obligatory prayers the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would recite "Bismillah al-Rahman al-Rahim" (In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful) aloud, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) would recite the qunut in the Fajr prayer, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) would begin the takbirs from the morning prayer of the day of Arafah and end them at the Asr prayer of the last of the days of Tashriq.
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain, and I do not know of anyone among its narrators who has been criticised. On this topic there are also narrations from Jabir bin Abdullah and other Companions, while from Sayyiduna Umar, Ali, Ibn Abbas and Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with them) saying the takbirs from the morning of the day of Arafah until the last of the days of Tashriq is authentically established. As for the narration about it from Umar:
