Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) says that in the two Eids (prayers) the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would say twelve takbirs besides the opening takbir, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) would recite (in the prayer) "Qaf. By the glorious Qur'an" and "The Hour has drawn near".
This hadith was narrated by Abdullah bin Lahi'ah alone, and Imam Muslim cited him as a supporting narrator in two places. On this topic there are also narrations from Sayyidah Aishah, Ibn Umar, Abu Hurayrah and Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them), but their chains are weak. And according to one statement, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated it from Uqayl.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: (1) It is "hasan li-ghayrihi"; Abdullah bin Lahi'ah had a poor memory and was inconsistent (idtirab) in the chain and the text (for details see Musnad Ahmad 24362). Reference / Source: Ahmad (40/24409) narrated it from Yahya bin Ishaq, and Abu Dawud (1150) and Ibn Majah through the chain of Ibn Wahb. The wording is that in the Eid prayer he (peace and blessings be upon him) would say seven takbirs in the first rak'ah and five in the second. Repetition: It will come later by way of Amr bin Khalid from Ibn Lahi'ah. Technical note: Al-Daraqutni said that the cause of the idtirab in it is Ibn Lahi'ah himself. Corroborating chains and supporting reports: The narration of Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As is found in Ahmad, Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah, although Abdullah al-Ta'ifi in its chain has been criticised. Corroborating chains and supporting reports: The narration of Amr bin Awf al-Muzani is in al-Tirmidhi (544), who called it "hasan" and quoted al-Bukhari as saying that it is the most authentic hadith on this topic. Grading: The marfu' narration of Abu Hurayrah is da'if, but his own practice (mawquf) is reported with a "sahih chain" by Imam Malik and Ibn Abi Shaybah. Grading: The narration of Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) is also reported with a "sahih chain" by Ibn Abi Shaybah and al-Bayhaqi. Grading: Since such matters are not determined by reason and opinion, the combination of all these supporting reports makes this hadith "hasan".
Reference / Source: (2) Imam Muslim mentioned it paired with the narration of Amr bin al-Harith.
