Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 987

أخبرني محمد بن موسى بن عِمْران الفقيه، حدثنا إبراهيم بن أبي طالب، حدثنا أبو كُرَيب، حدثنا معاوية بن هشام، عن سفيان، عن أبي مالك الأشجَعي، عن أبي حازم، عن أبي هريرة -قال: أُراه رَفَعَه- قال: "لا غِرارَ في تسليمٍ ولا صلاةٍ" (1).
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him); the narrator says: I think he narrated it as a statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "There is no deficiency or deception in the salam or in prayer."

(1) حديث صحيح، وهذا إسناد حسن من أجل معاوية بن هشام. أبو كريب: هو محمد بن العلاء الهمداني.
Grading: (1) The hadith is sahih, and the chain is "hasan" on account of Mu'awiyah bin Hisham.
Technical note: Abu Kurayb is Muhammad bin al-'Ala' al-Hamdani.
وأخرجه البيهقي 2/ 261 عن أبي عبد الله الحاكم، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Al-Bayhaqi (2/261) narrated it via Imam al-Hakim, with this same chain.
