Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 966

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Sa'ib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I was present with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in the year of the Conquest of Makkah. He (peace and blessings be upon him) led the Fajr prayer, and he took off his sandals and placed them on his left side.
Imam al-Hakim says: I have cited it as a supporting narration (shahid); the two Shaykhs did not record it.

Technical note: In the narration of Ahmad and Ibn Hibban, Hawdhah bin Khalifah joined Abdullah bin Amr with Abu Salamah bin Sufyan (he is not Ibn al-As but another narrator).
