حدثنا علي بن حَمْشَاذَ العَدْل، حدثنا إسماعيل بن قُتَيبة، حدثنا محمد بن مُقاتِل المروَزي، حدثنا ابن المبارَك، حدثنا عِكْرمة بن عمَّار، حدثني إسحاق بن عبد الله بن أبي طَلْحة، عن أنس بن مالك قال: جاءت أمُّ سُلَيم إلى النبي ﷺ فقالت: يا رسول الله، علِّمْني شيئًا أدعُو به في صلاتي، فقال: "سَبِّحي اللهَ عشرًا، واحمَدِي اللهَ عشرًا، وكبِّري اللهَ عشرًا، ثم سَلِي اللهَ ما شئتِ" (2). هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم، ولم يُخرجاه. Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Sayyidah Umm Sulaym (may Allah be pleased with her) came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah, teach me something with which I may supplicate in my prayer. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Say Subhan Allah ten times, say Alhamdulillah ten times and say Allahu Akbar ten times, then ask Allah for whatever you wish."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Muslim, but the two Shaykhs did not record it.

(2) إسناده صحيح. وسيأتي برقم (1206). Grading: (2) Its chain is sahih, and it will come later at number (1206). وأخرجه الترمذي (481) عن أحمد بن محمد بن موسى، عن عبد الله بن المبارك، بهذا الإسناد. Reference / Source: It was narrated by al-Tirmidhi (481) through Ahmad bin Muhammad bin Musa from Ibn al-Mubarak with this same chain. وزاد: "يقول: نعم نعم". وقال الترمذي: حديث حسن غريب.
(Clarification): It contains the addition that he (peace and blessings be upon him) would say "Na'am, na'am" (yes, yes) (to the supplication). Al-Tirmidhi called it "hasan gharib". وأخرجه أحمد 19/ (12207)، والنسائي (1223)، وابن حبان (2011) من طريق وكيع، عن عكرمة بن عمار، به. وبوَّب له النسائي: الذِّكر بعد التشهُّد، وبوَّب له ابن حبان: عَقِبَ الصلاة. Reference / Source: It was narrated by Ahmad 19/ (12207), al-Nasa'i (1223) and Ibn Hibban (2011) through Waki' from 'Ikrimah bin 'Ammar. Al-Nasa'i placed it in the chapter "Remembrance after the tashahhud" and Ibn Hibban in the chapter "After the prayer".
