حدثنا أبو الحسين محمد بن أحمد بن الأَصَمِّ ببغداد، حدثنا أبو قِلَابة، حدثنا أبو عاصم، حدثنا عثمان الشَّحّام، عن مُسلِم بن أبي بَكْرة، عن أبيه: أنَّ النبي ﷺ كان يقول في دُبُر الصلاة: "اللهمَّ إني أعوذُ بك من الكُفْر والفَقْر، وعذابِ القَبْر" (2).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم، فقد احتَجَّ بإسناده سواءً: "ستكون فتِنةٌ القاعدُ فيها خيرٌ من القائم" (3)، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to supplicate after the prayer: 'Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min al-kufri wal-faqri wa 'adhabil-qabr' (O Allah, I seek refuge in You from disbelief, poverty and the punishment of the grave).
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Muslim, for he used this very chain as evidence for: "There will be a tribulation in which the one sitting is better than the one standing", but the two Shaykhs did not record it.

(2) إسناده قوي. أبو قلابة: هو عبد الملك بن محمد، وأبو عاصم: هو الضحاك بن مخلد. وسلف تخريجه برقم (99)، وانظر ما سيأتي برقم (1975).
Grading: (2) The chain is qawi (strong).
Technical note: Abu Qilabah refers to Abd al-Malik bin Muhammad, and Abu 'Asim refers to al-Dahhak bin Makhlad. It has already passed at number (99), and it will also come later at number (1975).
(3) أخرجه مسلم في "صحيحه" برقم (2887) من طرق عن عثمان الشحام عن مسلم بن أبي بكرة عن أبيه.
