Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 926

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) prostrated, the whiteness of his (peace and blessings be upon him) armpits could be clearly seen.
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs, but they did not record it.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: (1) Its chain is sahih.
Technical note: Abu al-Muthanna refers to Mu'adh bin al-Muthanna.
Corroborating chains and supporting reports: Musaddad was corroborated by Musa bin Salamah al-Tabudhaki in al-Bukhari's "al-Tarikh al-Kabir".
Variation in the chain: Sufyan bin 'Uyaynah (in the next narration) made it the hadith of Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her). Marwan bin Mu'awiyah and Ja'far bin Burqan also narrated it from Maymunah (Muslim 497). The disagreement over the name of the Companion makes no difference.
