Book of Leading the Prayer and Congregational Prayer
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ - كَانَ إِذَا رَكَعَ فَرَّجَ بَيْنَ أَصَابِعِهِ
When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) bowed he would spread his fingers apart
Mustadrak al-Hakim 912 — When the Prophet ﷺ bowed he would spread
حدثنا أبو محمد عبد الله بن محمد بن إسحاق الخُزَاعي بمكة، حدثنا أبو يحيى بن أبي مَسَرَّة، حدثنا عبد الله بن يزيد المقرئ، حدثنا موسى بن أيوب قال: سمعت عمِّي إياسَ بن عامر يقول: سمعت عُقْبةَ بن عامر الجُهَني يقول: لما نَزَلَت ﴿فَسَبِّحْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الْعَظِيمِ﴾ [الواقعة: 74] قال لنا رسول الله ﷺ: "اجعَلُوها في رُكوعِكم" (1).
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir al-Juhani (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that when the verse "So glorify the name of your Lord, the Most Great" [al-Waqi'ah: 74] was revealed, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to us: "Make it part of your bowing."

(1) إسناده حسن من أجل إياس بن عامر.
Grading: (1) The chain is "hasan" because of Iyas bin 'Amir.
وأخرجه أحمد 28/ (17414) عن أبي عبد الرحمن - وهو عبد الله بن يزيد المقرئ - بهذا الإسناد. بمثل حديث عبد الله بن المبارك التالي.
Reference / Source: Ahmad (28/17414) narrated it with the chain of 'Abdullah bin Yazid al-Muqri', in the same way as the following narration of Ibn al-Mubarak.
وسيأتي كذلك عند المصنف برقم (3825) من طريق السري بن خزيمة عن المقرئ.
Repetition: It will come later at number (3825) with the chain of al-Sari bin Khuzaymah from al-Muqri'.
Grading: (1) The chain is "hasan" because of Iyas bin 'Amir.
