حدثنا أبو العباس محمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا بَحْر بن نَصْر الخَوْلاني، حدثنا عبد الله بن وهب، أخبرني عمرو بن الحارث عن دَرَّاج، عن أبي الهيثم، عن أبي سعيد، أنَّ رسول الله ﷺ قال: "لو أنَّ مِقمَعًا من حديدٍ وُضِعَ في الأرض فاجتمع له الثَّقَلانِ، ما أقلُّوه من الأرض" (1).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If an iron mace (hammer) (used to strike the people of Hell) were placed on the earth, and all of mankind and jinn gathered to lift it, even then they would not be able to lift it from the earth."
The chain of this hadith is sahih (authentic), but the two Shaykhs did not record it.

(1) إسناده ضعيف لضعف درّاج في أبي الهيثم.
Grading: (1) Its chain is weak because Darraj's narration from Abu al-Haytham is weak.
وأخرجه أحمد 17 / (11233) من طريق ابن لهيعة، عن دراج، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Ahmad 17/ (11233) narrated it by way of Ibn Lahi'ah, from Darraj, with this chain.
المقمع: قضيب من حديث معوجّ الرأس.
Note / Clarification: "Al-miqma'": an iron rod (club) with a bent head.
أقلُّوه: رفعوه.
Note / Clarification: "Aqalluhu" means: they lifted it.
