Book of the Terrors of the Day of Resurrection
قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَرْجُو أَنْ تَكُونُوا شَطْرَ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ "

حدَّثَناهُ أبو عبد الله محمد بن يعقوب الشَّيباني، حدثنا إبراهيم بن عبدان السَّعْدي، حدثنا رَوْح بن عُبادة، حدثنا سعيدٌ وهشامُ (4) بن أبي عبد الله، عن قَتَادةَ، عن الحسن، عن عِمران بن حُصَين قال: بينما نحن مع رسول الله ﷺ في بعض أسفارِه؛ فذكر الحديثَ بنحوه (5). وقد رُوِّينا هذا الحديثَ عن عبد الله بن عبَّاس:
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: We were with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on a journey. Then he mentioned a hadith similar to it.
This hadith has also been narrated to us from Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both).

(4) تحرَّف في النسخ الخطية إلى: سعيد بن هشام وسعيد هذا هو ابن أبي عروبة، وهو وهشام بن أبي عبد الله الدستوائي من مشاهير أصحاب قتادة.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): In the manuscripts this name has been corrupted into "Sa'id bin Hisham" (whereas it is Sa'id bin Abi 'Arubah). This Sa'id (Ibn Abi 'Arubah) and Hisham bin Abi 'Abdullah al-Dastuwa'i are both among the well-known students of Qatadah.
(5) حديث صحيح رجاله ثقات كسابقه.
Grading: This hadith is sahih and its narrators are thiqah, like the previous chain.
وقد سلف برقم (3035) من طريق محمد بن إسحاق الصغاني عن روح بن عبادة عن سعيد وحده.
Reference / Source: This hadith has already appeared under number (3035) via Muhammad bin Ishaq al-Saghani, from Rawh bin 'Ubadah, from Sa'id (alone).
