حدثنا علي بن حَمْشاذ العَدْل، حدثنا إسماعيل بن إسحاق القاضي، حدثنا إسماعيل بن أبي أُوَيس، حدثني أخي، عن سليمان بن بلال، عن كَثِير بن زيد، عن أبي عبد الله القَرَّاظ، عن ابن عمر، أنَّ رسول الله ﷺ قال: "إذا توضَّأ أحدُكم فأحسَنَ وضوءَه ثم خَرَجَ إلى الصلاة، لا يَنزِعُه إلى المسجد إلَّا الصلاةُ، لم تَزَلْ رِجلُه اليسرى تَمحُو عنه سيئةً، وتكتبُ له اليمنى حَسَنةً، حتى يَدخُلَ المسجدَ" (1). كثير بن زيد وأبو عبد الله القرَّاظ مدنيَّان لا نعرفُهما إلّا بالصِّدق، و

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When one of you performs ablution (wudu) well and then goes out for the prayer, with nothing but the prayer taking him to the mosque, his left foot keeps erasing his sins and his right foot keeps recording a good deed for him, until he enters the mosque."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) and its narrators are truthful, but the two Shaykhs did not record it.

Grading: (1) It is "sahih li-ghayrihi" and its chain is "hasan".
وأخرجه الطبراني في "الكبير" (13328)، وابن شاهين في "الترغيب في فضائل الأعمال" (40)، والبيهقي في "شعب الإيمان" (2624) من طريقين عن كثير بن زيد الأسلمي، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Al-Tabarani in "al-Kabir" (13328), Ibn Shahin in "al-Targhib fi Fada'il al-A'mal" (40) and al-Bayhaqi in "Shu'ab al-Iman" (2624) narrated it through two routes from Kathir bin Zayd al-Aslami, with this same chain.
ويشهد له ما قبله من حديث أبي هريرة.
Corroborating chains and supporting reports: The preceding hadith of Abu Hurayrah is a shahid for it.
