أخبرني أبو الحسين (2) عبيد الله بن محمد البَلْخي التاجر، حدثنا محمد بن إسماعيل السُّلَمي، حدثنا سعيد بن الحَكَم بن أبي مريم، أخبرني عبد الله بن وهب، أخبرني ابن جُرَيج، عن عطاء بن أبي رَبَاح: أنه سمع عبدَ الله بن الزُّبير على المِنبَر يقول للناس: إذا دخل أحدُكم المسجدَ والناسُ ركوعٌ، فليَركَعْ حين يدخل ثم ليَدُبَّ راكعًا حتى يدخل في الصف، فإنَّ ذلك السُّنة. قال عطاء: وقد رأيتُه هو يفعل ذلك (3).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط الشيخين، ولم يُخرجاه.

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with them both) said to the people from the pulpit: When any one of you enters the mosque while the people are in bowing (ruku'), he should bow as soon as he enters and then walk in the state of bowing until he joins the row, for this is the Sunnah.
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it.

(2) في النسخ الخطية: أبو الحسن، وقد جاء عند المصنف في غير ما موضع: أبو الحسين، وهو كذلك عند البيهقي في "السنن" 3/ 106.
Technical note: (2) The manuscripts have "Abu al-Hasan", whereas in several places in the author's work "Abu al-Husayn" appears, and it is the same in al-Bayhaqi (3/106).
(3) صحيح، شيخ المصنف لم نقف له على ترجمة، لكنه متابع، ومن فوقه ثقات.
Grading: (3) It is sahih; we could not find a biography of the shaykh of the author (al-Hakim), but he is corroborated, and the narrators above him are thiqah.
وأخرجه البيهقي 3/ 106 عن أبي عبد الله الحاكم، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Al-Bayhaqi (3/106) narrated it via Imam al-Hakim with this same chain.
وأخرجه ابن خزيمة (1571) عن عبد الله بن محمد بن سعيد بن الحكم بن أبي مريم، عن جده سعيد بن الحكم، به.
Reference / Source: Ibn Khuzaymah (1571) narrated it with the chain of 'Abdullah bin Muhammad from Sa'id bin al-Hakam bin Abi Maryam.
وأخرجه الطبراني في "الأوسط" (7016) من طريق حرملة بن يحيى، عن ابن وهب، به - وزاد فيه: قال ابن جريج: وقد رأيت عطاءً يصنع ذلك. وقال الطبراني: انفرد به حرملة، وليس كذلك، فقد تابعه سعيد بن أبي مريم كما عند الحاكم وابن خزيمة.
Reference / Source: Al-Tabarani narrated it in "al-Awsat" (7016) with the chain of Harmalah bin Yahya from Ibn Wahb. Al-Tabarani said that Harmalah is alone in narrating it, but that is not so; Sa'id bin Abi Maryam corroborated him in al-Hakim and Ibn Khuzaymah.
