حدثنا أبو العباس محمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا العباس بن محمد الدُّورِي، حدثنا إسحاق بن منصور السَّلُولي، أخبرنا إسرائيل، عن سِمَاك، عن جابر بن سَمُرة قال: كان مؤذِّنُ النبي ﷺ يؤذِّن ثم يُمهِل، فإذا رأَى النبيَّ ﷺ قد أقبَلَ أخَذَ في الإقامة (2).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم بن الحجَّاج، ولم يُخرجاه.

Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the mu'adhdhin of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would give the adhan and then wait a little, and when he saw that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was coming, he would then begin the iqamah.
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but they did not record it.
